Professor, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna

Prof. Mag. Werner Hackl was born in 1942 in Krems, Austria. He studied at Pedagogy Academy and the University of Music in Vienna and got a diploma in trombone. As a professional musician, Prof. Hackl has worked as a member of the Tonkuenstler Orchestra Austria and as a professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and taught Brass-Ensemble for several decades. As the president of the Austrian Society of Contemporary Music, he led the society to great success. For his work, he has been honored by the Austrian state. Prof. Mag. Werner Hackl teaches at Master Classes for music students from the entire world. He is the director of the Artists Ensemble Vienna, the conductor of the Artists Orchestra Vienna, and the band master of the traditional wind music Original Kaiserjaeger. Their concerts, recordings, and radio and television broadcasts are well-known in Austria and the whole world.
